WFAC 2021 Cancelled

7 May 2021 | Events, Newsletter

The situation in the world caused by COVID-19 is still turbulent. Despite the desire of many competitors to participate in the WFAC this year, a joint decision has been made by the IFAA and FAAE to cancel the WFAC 2021.

However, we are pleased to announce that the IFAA has approved the FAAE’s application to host the WFAC 2022 in Estonia. The FAAE also received confirmation from the Jõulumäe Recreation Center that the same venue will be available for the WFAC 2022.

The proposed dates for the WFAC 2022: 05 August to 13 August 2022.

Competitors who had registered and paid the competition fee to participate in WFAC 2020 and now wish to participate in WFAC 2022 do not have to do anything. Their participation fee will be retained and carried forward to the next WFAC tournament.

The same applies to accommodation in the competition village. Competitors who have booked and paid for accommodation and wish to participate in WFAC 2022 and stay in the competition village do not have to do anything. Their reservations and payments will be carried over to 2022.

As more than two years have passed since the initial registration for the competition, we ask that competitors review their age classes for the WFAC 2022.

In the coming days, the FAAE will send a link to all competitors via e-mail to update your registered data.  Cancellation options will also be communicated on an individual basis.  For more information, please visit the tournament webpage.

On behalf of the Tournament Organizers, we thank you for your patience and understanding!

Great news that 2022 is confirmed. I can’t think how much stress our colleagues in Estonia must have been under.

Archers that can not participate in 2022 due to time past and other factors still need to receive cancellation options. We are receiving many queries from them and need to respond.
