Legislative Items
We have three (3) ways to submit legislative items:
- Legislative Proposals by full members.
- Legislative Proposals by Executives.
- Recommended legislative clarifications by the different working committees / workgroups.
As per Constitution, proposals must be received by the Secretary at least 120 days before the World Council Meeting – Due date 7th of May 2021
The Executives will have 30 days to study the proposals and prepare their comments.
Although not addressed in the Constitution, we will distribute the proposals to the various workgroups and delegates seeking assistance in the assessment of impacts / consequences of proposals received. Comments / recommendations from the workgroups will be considered by the Executives when commenting on proposals.
The Secretary will send copies of all proposals and related comments to the full members at least 90 days prior to the World Council Meeting – Due date 6th of June 2021
For the next 30 days, those who have submitted a draft proposal, are to review the comments received and reconsider the content / wording. They may also liaise with others to seek clarification on comments and / or discuss potential modifications.
The final version of the proposal shall be submitted 60 days prior to the World Council Meeting – Due date 07th of July 2021
