The date for the Extra-ordinary General Assembly (World Council Meeting) will be 04\/05 September 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparation Processes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Legislative Items<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have three (3) ways to submit legislative items: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Legislative Proposals by full members.<\/li>
  2. Legislative Proposals by Executives. <\/li>
  3. Recommended legislative clarifications by the different working committees \/ workgroups.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    As per Constitution, proposals must be received by the Secretary at least 120 days before the World Council Meeting \u2013 Due date 7<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> of May 2021 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Executives will have 30 days to study the proposals and prepare their comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Although not addressed in the Constitution, we will distribute the proposals to the various workgroups and delegates seeking assistance in the assessment of impacts \/ consequences of proposals received.  Comments \/ recommendations from the workgroups will be considered by the Executives when commenting on proposals. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Secretary will send copies of all proposals and related comments to the full members at least 90 days prior to the World Council Meeting \u2013 Due date 6<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> of June 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For the next 30 days, those who have submitted a draft proposal, are to review the comments received and reconsider the content \/ wording.  They may also liaise with others to seek clarification on comments and \/ or discuss potential modifications. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The final version of the proposal shall be submitted 60 days prior to the World Council Meeting – Due date 07th<\/sup> of July 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If no updates are received, the original submitted proposal will be tabled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Details of the Agenda will be provided 50 days prior to the World Council Meeting \u2013 Due date 16th<\/sup> of July 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

     <\/strong>Timeline for the World Council Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • 04\/09\/2021: Virtual World Council Meeting.<\/li>
    • 16\/07\/2021: Agenda, proposals, reports and hosting bids will be distributed to Member Associations.<\/li>
    • 07\/07\/2021: Last date to submit final revision of agenda items.<\/li>
    • 28\/06\/2021: Executive reports to be submitted.<\/li>
    • 07\/05\/2021: Last date to submit proposals and express interest in hosting an IFAA sanctioned tournament.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
