Uruguay is a country in South America. It has a South Atlantic Ocean coastline and lies between Argentina to the west and Brazil to the north. The name Uruguay means river of the painted birds. Spanish is spoken everywhere. Portu\u00f1ol (or Brasilero) is a mixture of Portuguese and Spanish used on the Brazilian order. The local currency is the Uruguayan peso.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

FUTARCO has been a member of IFAA since November 2012 as well as World Archery (WA) with a total of 75 archers in good standing. Most Uruguayan archers participate in WA tournaments. There are no official IFAA tournaments scheduled to occur in Uruguay. A marginal number of members attend IFAA tournaments internationally, traveling to Argentina and Brazil.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
